Dr. Matthew Karpman is a board certified cosmetic and medical dermatologist in his hometown of Edmonton. He completed his medical degree at the University of Calgary before pursuing his 5 year dermatology training residency at the University of British Columbia. During that time, he worked with some of the world’s leading skin authorities in areas including acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. Dr. Karpman also acquired a personalized technique in neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport), filler injections (Juvederm, Restylane), and laser treatments to provide natural looking results. Dr. Karpman received recognitions from several top organizations including his provincial medical association and the Canadian Dermatology Association. He has published papers in several journals and presented at local, national, and international conferences. In addition to his academic interests, Dr. Karpman has served on numerous committees and is actively involved in training the next generation of Dermatologists. As a testament to his specialized expertise in skin, he is currently a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
